A family-run guesthouse for 40 years

Our guesthouse in Reundorf, in the municipality of Frensdorf near Bamberg, is a small, family-run establishment with a long history. Housed in a traditional half-timbered building, we have been welcoming guests looking for peaceful, personal accommodation for over 40 years.

What began as something very small has grown over the years—not through major changes, but through countless encounters with people from all over the world who have found a little home away from home with us.

A house with history and character

The half-timbered building that houses our guesthouse still shapes its unique atmosphere today. Much remains just as it always was—not carefully staged, but genuine and shaped over time.

We believe that’s what makes all the difference: not an impersonal hotel, but a place with a story of its own.

Hosts with a Passion

We’re a family-run guesthouse, and that’s exactly how we approach what we do: with a personal touch, attentiveness and a warm welcome.

Many of our guests return time and again. Some have been coming for years. Along the way, conversations have turned into acquaintances and sometimes even friendships—something you can’t plan; it just happens.

Peace and quiet near Bamberg – close to the city yet surrounded by greenery

Our guest house is in a quiet location, with views of the greenery, yet close enough to make exploring Bamberg easy. The Old Town, with its winding streets, rich history and small breweries, is just a short journey away.

This is how we bring together two sides: the city nearby and the peace and quiet of a place to retreat.

A place to feel at home

We want our guests to feel not just accommodated, but truly welcome. No grand gestures—just thoughtful touches that make your stay a pleasure.
